How we started
Welcome to our story — a journey that began on the sun-kissed shores of the Canary Islands and has unfolded into a life built on love, adventure, and unforgettable memories. From a chance meeting in Gran Canaria to romantic escapes across Tenerife, from a Paris proposal to a breathtaking villa wedding surrounded by ocean and volcanic landscapes, the islands have become woven into the heart of our relationship. They have given us so much joy that we felt inspired to share that same magic with others — and so, Canary Weddings was born. We’re honoured to welcome you into our world and hope our story inspires a beautiful beginning to yours.

A Chance Meeting in the Breeze
We met in Las Palmas, where the Atlantic breeze seems to carry possibility. One smile, one conversation… and suddenly the island felt smaller, warmer, and full of promise.
Spring–Summer 2023
Island-Hopping Hearts
From Tenerife sunsets to hidden cafés on La Gomera, our weekends turned into mini-adventures. We learned each other’s favourite views, favourite beaches, and favourite snacks — all while realising our favourite place was simply together.
Late 2023
The Moment We Knew
Somewhere between long drives along the coast, shared playlists, and belly laughs over tapas, it became clear: this wasn’t just a holiday romance. This was home.
Winter 2023
Dreamers in the Islands
We started whispering ideas about the future: What if? Could we? Should we?
The islands had a funny way of making big dreams feel completely natural.
Spring 2024
Paris, With Love
We traded palm trees for the Eiffel Tower. In the city of lights — and far too many croissants — a single question turned into the sweetest “yes.” The world sparkled a little brighter that day.
Summer 2024
Planning, Laughing, Imagining
Between wedding plans and island escapes, we spent months surrounded by colour palettes, villa tours, and jokes about who would cry first at the altar. (Spoiler: both of us.)

The Afterglow
The months that followed were filled with reminiscing, reliving, and replaying every moment. The islands had become the backdrop of our love story… and we wanted others to feel that magic too.

The Birth of Canary Weddings
With full hearts and endless inspiration, we launched Canary Weddings — a way to bring the beauty, warmth, and wonder of the Canary Islands to couples dreaming of their own perfect celebration.
